Must see in Mauritania

Mauritania, or officially the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, is a country in northwestern Africa. The Sahara Desert covers most of this country, and its shores are bathed by the Atlantic Ocean. Mauritania is one of the least populated countries in Africa, with a population of about 4.3 million, and more than a third of the population lives in the capital, Nouakchott. However, since the conflicts in West Africa have subsided and the security for the citizens and visitors of this hidden country has significantly improved, Mauritania has become a favorite destination for those rare, true adventurers.
