Visby
Visby is the capital of the province of Gotland, located on the island of Gotland. Also, Visby is the best-preserved medieval town in Scandinavia. Its 3,4-kilometer-long walls surround the old town, which abounds in historic buildings and ruins. Since 1995, the city has been included on the UNESCO World Heritage Sites list. During the summer, Medival Week is held here, where many visitors use the opportunity to try themselves in the role of nobles, knights, or peasants. During that week, the whole city "moved" to the Middle Ages, and visitors became part of a great show. For those who are not fans of the crowds, Visby receives visitors all year round, and there are many attractions you can visit.
