Village Museum

Located in the Tanzania ex capital Dar es Salaam, Makumbusho Village museum is presenting authentically constructed houses and equipment of several (of over 130) African tribes located in Tanzania. The best time to visit is throughout the year, although try to avoid rain season since it can damage some hand-built houses. On Saturdays, you can encounter interesting sight - tribe dances!
