Edge of the World
Edge of the World or Jebel Fihrayn as the Saudis call it is a geological phenomenon of magnificent appearance. Here, a cliff wall rises from the vast plain, in some places up to 300 meters high, which is the result of the movement of tectonic plates. For that reason, fossilized remains of coral and seashells can be found in the surrounding soil, although the Red Sea is hundreds of kilometers away. Edge of the World is located about two hours drive from Riyadh to the northwest. The road is good, and it is only necessary to have a vehicle with higher ground clearance on the location itself.
