Mergui Archipelago

Located in far southern Myanmar, Mergui Archipelago consists of more than 800 islands, called Pashu Islands, largely uninhabited until the 20th century. Opened up to foreign tourism in the 1990s, Mergui Archipelago quickly became one of the favorite destinations for divers and overall holidaymakers.
