Ananda Temple
Although damaged in the earthquake of 1975, Ananda Temple, built in 1105 AD is today fully reconstructed and open for visitors. Being one of the best known and most beautiful temples in Myanmar, this temple is architectonically a perfectly dimensioned stylistic structure as a fusion of Mon and Indian architectural styles. The interior will reveal a magnificent sight as well - a four 9,5 meter tall standing Buddha images.
