Tipova Monastery
Tipova Monastery is an Orthodox Christian monastery located about a hundred kilometers northeast of Chisinau, on a cliff along the west bank of the Dniester River. It consists of three chambers and monastic cells. The chambers date from the 11th to the 15th century. According to the legend, Stefan cel Mare got married in this monastery. Visitors should dress according to the visit to the religious facility.
