In support of the claim that Africa is one of the most beautiful continents filled with natural beauty is Maletsunyane Falls, which falls from a height of 192 meters. The acoustics of this space is such that the water spraying at the bottom of the gorge creates sounds reminiscent of human wailing. That phenomenon has given rise to the legend that these are the voices of people who drowned in waterfalls. Two Guinness World Records were set at this place: for the highest basketball shot at the end of 2017, and the longest commercially operated abseil. The nearby town of Semonkong (place of smoke) was named after the water sprayed on Maletsunyane Falls.
