Byblos Citadel
Byblos Citadel is a restored crusader fort built in the 12th century from local limestone and the remains of Roman buildings. Inside the Citadel is a small museum where you can learn about the history of the fortress. The surroundings of the Citadel are also magnificent. Also nearby are Phoenician Necropolis, Roman Amphitheater, and several Egyptian temples. Visitors find this neighborhood fun to explore.
