Jamestown Lighthouse

The Jamestown Lighthouse was built on the shores of the Gulf of Guinea in the Atlantic Ocean in the Jamestown neighborhood of Accra. This building was erected in 1930 on the site of an old lighthouse that was built back in 1871. Today it is considered one of the most favorite lookouts over the capital of Ghana. When air pollution allows, the whole port and a large part of the city can be seen from it.
