Virunga National Park

Virunga National Park is a great natural gem located in the very east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. This area of great importance for nature has been under the protection of UNESCO since 1994. There are two active volcanoes in the park: Mount Nyiragongo and Nyamuragira. Under their influence, biodiversity was formed, which includes over 3000 species of flora and fauna.
