Kalahari desert
The Kalahari Desert is a large plain of the interior plateau that occupies almost all of Botswana, the northernmost part of Northern Cape province in South Africa, and the eastern third of Namibia. This sandy savannah was an inspiration to a large number of books, movies, and adventure expeditions throughout centuries. It is home to the most interesting people and wild animals, as well as a natural phenomenon that can be seen only here.
