Star Mosque

Star Mosque, also known as Tara Masjid, is located in the Armanitola area in the city of Dhaka. It was built in the 19th century by Mirza Ghulam Pir. Star ornaments, which gave the mosque its name was created from pieces of shattered China porcelain, so it is an early example of recycling.
