Bagerhat

Bagerhat district is located in south-west Bangladesh. This area is famous for 7815 mosques, 238 temples, 17 churches, and seven tombs, many of which are under the protection of UNESCO. Domed mosques are mainly built of bricks in the 15th century and are considered a man-made marvel. Make sure to visit Mosque City, especially Sixty Dome Mosque, as the largest mosque in Bagerhat.
