Colonia del Sacramento
Colonia del Sacramento is located in southwestern Uruguay and is considered one of the most beautiful places in the country. The historic district of Colonia del Sacramento is on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1995. There is a lot of attraction: the Portuguese Museum, the Municipal Museum, the Viceroy’s House, and the Portón de Campo, just to name a few. A large number of guests in Colonia del Sacramento traditionally come from Buenos Aires, which is located across the bay.
