Vallée de Mai National Park

Vallée de Mai National Park preserves a prehistoric forest that contains more than 4000 examples of the rare giant coco de mer fruit palm, unique to Seychelles - as well as a large diversity of plant and animal species. Wildlife enthusiasts and nature lovers often visit this UNESCO World Heritage Site to see the national bird of Seychelles - the black parrot.
