Grotta di Nettuno

A very popular and visited attraction in Sardinia is Grotta di Nettuno or Neptune's Grotto, named after the Roman god of the sea. Located near the town of Alghero in the north-west of the island, this stalactite cave has an entrance only around a meter above the sea level and guided tours offer much interesting information about this landmark of Sardinia.
