Słowiński National Park is located in northern Poland and covers 32,5 kilometers of the Baltic coast, and 186 square kilometers of dunes and lakes Łebsko, Gardno, and Dolgie Wielkie. Parts of the shores of these lakes are forbidden for visitors because this park is a wetland habitat for about 250 bird species. A special attraction for visitors' cameras are scenes of dunes and dead trees reminiscent of scenes from post-apocalyptic movies. Słowiński National Park has been on the UNESCO list of protected biospheres since 1995.
