First, this island is not really an island because it’s just a sandbar. Still, it is popular because of its powdery white sands that shape according to the tides. This bare beauty is uninhabitedㅡ no residents, no houses, no floraㅡ just a ray of white surrounded by seemly endless blue hues and green vista. But for the convenience of visitors, locals do rent out umbrellas. Getting to the island is easy; head on to Barangay Yumbing, Mambajao, where lots of boats offer daily trips to the island.
