Rainbow Mountain

Although the summit is hard, Rainbow Mountain or Vinicunca is a spectacular destination in Peru. Lying 5200 meters above sea level, this mountain due to its mineralogical composition showcases spectacular colors of the slopes and summits. The best time of the year to visit the colorful site is in the month of August since it is the dry season.
