Pearl Islands
Pearl Islands, or Islas de las Perlas, is an archipelago of about 150 islands and islets in the Gulf of Panama in the Pacific Ocean. These beautiful islands are adorned with dense vegetation and fairytale white sandy beaches, which attract tourists who want to escape from the traffic and noise of cities. Most of the islands are uninhabited, although on the larger islands you can find a wide range of accommodation and accompanying facilities for tourists. The islands are locally known as a haven for wealthy Panamanians and gained general popularity after filming several seasons of Survivor and similar shows.
