Tromsø

Placed in northern Norway, Tromsø was a base for many Arctic expeditions since the 19th century. Nicknamed as the Paris of the North, this is a great spot for exploring the very north of Europe but in an urban way - by visiting Polar museum, arctic cathedral, botanic garden or experiencing Aurora Borealis - the northern lights, and spectacular spa boat trips to a polar circle.
