Even after several earthquakes that happened in 2010 and 2011, Christchurch, known as the Garden City still remains a popular tourist destination. The city is the third populous city in New Zealand and offers great activities and sightseeing. Hagley Park, Hot Water Beach, Christchurch Botanic Gardens, Christchurch Art Gallery, Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament are favorite spots among visitors.
