Sossusvlei
The southern part of the Namib Desert hides one of the most spectacular and best-known attractions. Sossusvlei is a salt and clay pan, characteristic by large red dunes, especially attractive to photographers for the beautiful morning and evening light. Although a harsh area, flora, and fauna in the Sossusvlei area are rich, housing antelopes, ostriches, small mammalians, several bird species, and many more.
