Acapulco Bay
Acapulco Bay is one of the oldest and most famous resorts in Mexico, often called the Pearl of the Pacific. During the 20th century, stars like Frank Sinatra, John Wayne, Elvis Presley, and many others spent their holidays here. Nowadays' reputation is a bit shaken by the appearance of crime, but Acapulco is beyond doubt one of the must-see points on a trip to Mexico. Authorities claim that the violence takes place exclusively between gang members and that tourists are safe, which statistics confirm. It would be a real shame not to visit the beaches where the King of Rock 'n' Roll Elvis Presley, Elizabeth Taylor, and other pop icons of the last century sunbathed.
