Black River Gorges National Park

In the hilly south-western part of Mauritius lies a Black River Gorges National Park established in 1994. Facilities for visitors include information centres, picnic areas and 60 kilometers of hiking trails. Vistas, gorges, peaks, and waterfalls make this area a perfect outdoor activity. Many animals, including endangered species of birds and animals, can even be seen in this national park.
