Castille Place

Castille Place is a square in the south-eastern corner of Valletta, the capital city of Malta. From this square visitors can see Auberge de Castille, built in the 1570s to serve as a lounge, and which these days serves as an Office of the Prime Minister Of Malta. Also. There is St.James Cavalier fortification, one of the mainland-based defense points of Valletta. Nowadays, this is an art gallery - exhibitions, performances, and cultural events often happen here. The Central Bank of Malta, Malta Stock Exchange and Chapel of Our Lady Victories are also on this square. Just a few steps to the south of this place are Upper Barrakka Gardens park and Saluting Battery on the waterfront. Valletta is a town squeezed on one square kilometer packed with history and many things to see and enjoy.
