Bikini Beach
Since the Maldives consists of more than 1200 islands and 26 atolls and is primarily a Muslim country, swimming and sunbathing in bikini is forbidden on public beaches. However, there is a number of Bikini beaches across the Maldives, leaving you the opportunity to spend your beach time in a bikini. One of the most beautiful, the Bikini Beach, is located on the Maafushi island, featuring the sandbank on which you can enjoy during low tide.
