The Mantanani Islands are a small group of three islands (Mantanani Besar, Mantanani Kecil, and Lungisan) off the northwest coast of the state of Sabah, on the island part of Malaysia. These islands are the important habitat of many species of birds, including several exotic species of pigeons and doves, as well as owls. Medium-sized mammals, dugongs, also live in the waters around the island, so the islands are also popular among divers.
