Pico Ruivo

Pico Ruivo is Madeira Island's highest mountain (1862 meters). It is a harder hiking trail from Pico Arieiro (PR1). Often cloudy, but extremely beautiful with breathtaking views along the way. Proper hiking shoes are recommended. There are lots of cliff side paths, steep climbs and several 100 meters drops on this 5.6 kilometers long trail.
