Hill of Crosses

Near the town Šiauliai in northern Lithuania lies a famous landmark and a site of pilgrimage - Hill of Crosses. It contains more than 200,000 crosses of various sizes and styles, most of them brought here by the grieving relatives of the dead whose bodies were never found.
