Our Lady of Lebanon

Our Lady of Lebanon (Notre Dame du Liban) is a shrine in the Harissa village, about 20 kilometers north of Beirut. The location of Our Lady of Lebanon is at the top of a hill that is 650 meters above sea level. At the top of the building stands the statue of the Virgin made of bronze, 8,5 meters high, painted white, which spreads its arms towards Beirut. The shrine Our Lady of Lebanon was visited by Pope John Paul II in 1997.
