Dating from the 18th century, Rundale Palace is nicknamed the Baltic Versaille and represents major tourist destinations in Latvia. Nowadays a museum as well, this baroque palace is a masterpiece designed by Francesco Rastrelli, the architect who also created St. Petersburg’s Hermitage.
