Vang Vieng
Vang Vieng is a town on the Nam Song River, north of the capital Vientiane. During the Vietnam War, a runway, and a base of Air America were built here, so the city served as a supply center. Nowadays, Vang Vieng's focus is on tourism, and because it is in a karst area, many adrenaline tourists come to visit. Those who have visited the city recommend trekking, tubing, biking, ziplining, hiking, or ordinary walks through the beautiful landscape.
