Al Hamra Tower is the tallest skyscraper in Kuwait. Its height is 414 meters. On the east, north, and west sides, there is a curved glass facade that is designed to resemble a cloak, and at the same time to reduce the reflection of the sun. The south facade is made of limestone with rectangular windows set at an angle to lower direct sunlight. The building was completed in 2011 and is currently the 36th tallest in the world.
