Charyn Canyon National Park

The vast Kazakh steppe in the southeastern part of the country hides the natural phenomenon Charyn Canyon, created by the action of wind and water. This canyon is part of Charyn Canyon National Park, which covers about 1250 square kilometers. The most popular area of the national park is the Valley of the Castles, where there are natural stone formations reminiscent of castles.
