Wadi Musa

Wadi Musa or Valley of Moses is the nearest town to the archaeological site of Petra. Popular tourist spots are The Royal Tombs, The Treasury, The Monastery and spectacular Siq - a narrow and impressive canyon leading to Petra. It is said that the prophet Moses passed through the valley and struck water from the rock for his followers.
