Dead Sea

Commonly known as the lowest point on earth, Dead Sea is a natural phenomenon placed 430 meters below the sea level. The salinity level is incredibly high, which makes people float on its water. This water formation is actually a lake and both Jordan and Israel share its water. The Dead Sea has many historic and religious ties, and one is very popular - Jesus was allegedly baptized by John the Baptist right here.
