Al-Maghtas

Al-Maghtas is an archaeological World Heritage site in Jordan, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and most probably one of the most important religious and pilgrimage for many Christians. It is considered to be the original location of the Baptism of Jesus and the ministry of John the Baptist.
