Ponte dell'Accademia

Ponte dell'Accademia is one of four bridges on Grand Canal in Venice. The arched wooden bridge was initially built as a replacement bridge, but it remained a remarkable landmark. Since restored, couples have been attaching love locks to the metal handrails of the bridge, and in some point, local authorities needed to crack them down - allegedly, there was 20.000 of them.
