Ooty
Ooty or Udagamandalam is a popular hill station located in the southern Indian state of TamilNadu. The place is famous for its natural beauty which makes it a favorite spot of both local and international tourists. Ooty has various parks, lakes and reserve forests that are excellent photographic locations. The Nilgiri Mountain railway constructed by the British still operates in this region. The town is connected to all major cities of South India by rail and road. The nearest airport is Coimbatore.
