Kanyakumari is primarily a pilgrim spot though there are various other attractions for tourists. The Vivekananda Rock, Thiruvalluvar statue, and the beach attract tourists from all over the world. Kanyakumari can be accessed by road and rail. The nearest airport is the Trivandrum International airport.
