Skaftafell Ice Cave

Situated in Vatnajökull National Park, the largest national park in Iceland, Skaftafell Ice Cave is a magnificent sight and a must-see destination. During winter, when rains wash out the top layers of the glacier, the cave is bathed in spectacular blue light. The cave is, however, open for visitors all year round.
