Yaxha National Park

Yaxha National Park is an example that the culture of Guatemala has a strong foothold in Mayan civilization. There are three archeological complexes to visit in the park: Yaxha, El Naranjo, and Nakum. Yaxha is located between two lakes, Lago Yaxha and Lago Sacnab. The jungle, the pyramidal buildings of the temples, and the preservation of the buildings leave visitors breathless.
