Lake Atitlán

Lake Atitlán is the deepest lake in Central America with a maximum depth of 340 meters. The lake itself is beautiful, however, what makes it even more interesting is the bigger picture: around this lake, there are villages inhabited by descendants of the Maya who wear traditional clothes and above the lake rises the volcano Atitlán, San Pedro, and Toliman.
