Schwerin Castle

Schwerin Castle is situated on an island in the middle of the Schweriner See, adding to its unusual appeal. Although a seat of government nowadays, the castle is open for guided and self-guided tours. Legend says that the castle is haunted by the ghost Petermännchen ("little Peterman") who is roaming the halls of the Schwerin Castle.
