Château de Chenonceau

Situated in central France, Château de Chenonceau is one of the best-known châteaux of the Loire valley. This 16th-century castle was built on the foundations of an old mill, classified as a Monument Historique and besides the Palace of Versailles represents the most frequently visited castle in France.
