Pailon del Diablo
Pailon del Diablo is located in the central part of the country, in the Ecuadorian part of the Andes. Also known as Agoyán, this waterfall is the highest in Ecuador with the highest drop of 61 meters. There are trails around the waterfall where visitors can experience all the power of nature in close. To understand how much power is involved, there is a hydroelectric power plant just upstream of the waterfall that produces 156 MW of electricity.
