La Romana

Another magnificent destination in the Dominican Republic, La Romana is lying on the southeastern shore of the island. Not so resort-oriented like Punta Cana, the main draw of the area is a spectacular beach. Altos de Chavon is a favorite La Romana landmark, a replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village located just minutes from La Romana.
