Lake Abhe

Lake Abhe is located on the western border of the country. The Awash River flows into this lake. What is specific about this lake is its inaccessibility. According to some sources, this is the most inaccessible place in the world. However, flamingos have no problem approaching it. Another attraction is the appearance of 50 meters high limestone chimneys on the shores, which are the result of geothermal vapors. In this area, there is a junction of three tectonic plates that move away from each other from the central point.
